Dear House of the Potter patrons,
It is with great sadness that I tell you of the passing of our beloved husband and potter Jay Stewart. After a long battle of lung cancer, Jay died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 30, 2011. We treasure all of his pots and feel blessed to have had his work in the shop for 32 years.
At this time we will not be taking any pottery orders. We currently have two Oregon potters featured, Blue Spruce Pottery and Chris Johnson Pottery. Both compliment Jay's pots well.
